Special guest, TM O did his magic tricks in English, using a spoon, a pen and ropes with music. His exciting performance caught everyone's eyes, and the room was filled with applause.

Prepared Speech #1: TM KN (4'49") Best!
Title: "My delightful experiences" (Project: CC#1 The Ice Breaker)
TM KN gave her first Toastmasters speech, which was about what she learned from her life experiences. Through her experiences as a violin teacher and a traveler in a foreign country, she found how sad or difficult situations can change into delightful moments, and there are chances we can overcome circumstances.
Individual Evaluation #1: TM Ken I (2'58")
TM Ken I commented that the speech was impressive and "curious", and then stated some good points such as: Asking a question to the audience at the beginning of the speech was excellent, her body movements were very effective, and the speech was fluent and smooth overall. Also, he recommended that it might have been better if the story about the delightful experience was just one in the speech, instead of two, so that listeners can focus much more on the speech.
Prepared Speech #2: TM TO (5'20")
Title: "Feedback for Machida Karatedo Championships Result"
(Project: AC "Speeches by Management" #2: Appraise with Praise)
TM TO introduced the importance of giving feedbacks. He demonstrated the feedback skills, imitating the situation of Karate coach and a player having been lost a match. TM NT volunteered to be the player part, and TM TO showed the feedback process as a Karate coach with "Mawashi-geri" action.
Individual Evaluation #2: TM TA (3'26")
TM TA made a lot of positive comments for the speech: TM TO's enthusiastic, constructive, and encouraging way of feedback would lead to an improvement. She also suggested that making more eye contact with the audience would help to make his speech powerful.
Prepared Speech #3: TM YT (8'05")
Title: "FOR KEEP LIVING" (Project: CC#3 Get to the Point)
TM YT delivered a speech about the necessity of evacuation of children to protect them from risks of radiation. She emphasized that the situation is so serious and we should take prompt action even for children in Tokyo, before it is too late.
Individual Evaluation #3: TM MH (2'42") Best!
TM MH commented that the speech topic was thoughtfully selected, and the purpose for the speech was clearly stated in the beginning, which meet project objective. His suggestion for improvement was to refer to her own family and her personal feeling, which would appeal more to the audience.
Workshop: TM YH (16'30")
“Closing the Sale” – from Successful Club Series
TM YH gave a presentation on how to lead prospective members to decide to join a club. He explained that creating a win-win situation for both guests and members is the key to success in expanding the membership.
General Evaluation / 総合論評: TM TK
ハロウィン例会ということで、マジックショーやタイムリーなお題のテーブルトピックスなど趣向を凝らした内容が盛りだくさんで、大変楽しいひとときとなりました。一点、テーブルトピックスでゲストを指名する場合には、トップバッターではなく二人目以降の方が良いでしょう。
TM YH's workshop was impressive. He presented a lot of useful and specific tips for everyone with good humor. TM Ken I's evaluation had full of sympathy for the Ice-Breaker. TM TA did her evaluation with powerful and confident attitude. TM MH was serious and logical in the evaluation.

・In the grammarian's report, TM NT pointed out that motivation and passion are important in speaking, and he encouraged us to take advantage of the use of exaggerated actions.
・As a part of the "Halloween" meeting, TM NT was awarded 仮装大賞 for his Darth Vader costume.
