また、TMODによる 今回初めての面白コメント/ Funny Comments 発表コーナーがあり、
５枚のかわいい動物の絵の吹き出しに　英語や日本語でコメントを入れ発表しました。なかなか力作ぞろいでした。

He introduced some advantages of a miner mobile carrier and compared others.

Evaluation: TM YH (3'22")
The speaker started a question "Do you have...?" Such questions are effective. The structure was very clear. To use a bigger chart or sheet would be better.

Prepared Speech 2: "Da ya like 70's music?" CC#3 TM RS (6'00")
She proposed a popular radio program which feature 70’s music, and explained to who and why it's popular.

Evaluation: TM YI (2'04")
It was well prepared and she gave the speech without note. The information on the board was good. He showed some sympathy for her idea, especially for the Carpenters.

準備スピーチ 3: 「温故知新 in KOREA 」AC 楽しく話すスピーカー１ TM TA (7'25")
久しぶりの韓国旅行で出会ったタクシーの運転手さんや　ホテルの前のおじいさんならぬおばあさんのことを　大変面白く描写しました。（ベスト！）

個人論評: TM Ken I (2'53")
一貫して興味を持って聞けた。ボディランゲージがすばらしい。わかりやすい表現、特に多種多様な比喩と擬態語の使用。結論をもう少し工夫するとより面白くなる。（ベスト！）

General evaluation: TM YH
All the management, the arrangement and the performances of the roles were good.
Suggestions to the audience： 1. To give a bigger clapping, especially the initial applause is important. 2. To give an attention to the T.T.Master. It’s a very good training!
個人論評者への提案: 参加者にお尻を向けないですむようにテーブルを下げてしまうなどの工夫をするとよい。

そのほか、文法係の「スピーチを生き生きさせる言葉に注目した」というのが印象に残りました。

"The Key to CS.  Did you know??"

He introduced what CS stands for.  CS stands for Customer Satisfaction.  The key factors to CS are 1. Safety  2. Courtesy  3. Show  4. Efficiency.  He explained these factors with his experiences and is successfully persuaded the audience.

"What should I do?"

She introduced what Dr. Helen Caldicott, an Australian Physician who studies especially for kids and advocates anti-nuclear, says about the situation of Japan after 3.11.  The situation is worse than that of Chernobyl and TM YT cast the question what we should do for it.

There were not so many fillers and unnecessary utterings.
Report from Grammarian  There were not serious grammatical mistakes, instead there was a good expression, Audience Satisfaction.

The 66th Machida Bilingual TMC regular meeting was planned with special workshop as called Summer Festival in Machida. President TM Ken called the meeting to order and welcomed our members and guests for this special program, He introduced episode of UNIQLO and had members and guests introduce themselves individually.

Prepared Speech 1: TM TK (5’46)
Project: High Performance Leadership Part2
Title: The plan of the new educational project of Machida Bilingual TMC

TM TK introduced educational project this year as having communication and leadership lectures repeatedly with using program of Better Speaker Series, Excellent Leadership Series and Club Successful Series. TM TK will be a leader as being a guide. And lectors from members will give presentation based on manual. Members will learn from lectures about basic knowledge and practical advice. Through those repeated lectures, club level will be totally increased. TM TK advertised lectors from members.

Evaluator: TM MH (2’37)
 He gave 2 good points and 1 suggestion. Good points were having well prepared hand-out and good tone/volume of voice. A suggestion was having a little more clear vision to attract members and guests.

ワークショップ： TM O
タイトル: MSDS（エムエスドス）がわかるとTT(テーブルトピック)が怖くない
テーブルトピックコンテストで過去に日本語で３回の優勝、英語部門で１回の２位を受賞しているTM Oが、テーブルトピックコンテストの何にこだわってきたか、具体的な方法とノウハウをワークショップを通して伝授しました。MSDSとは、Mind、Skill、Drill、Secret。出発点であるMindでは、テーブルトピックスとはそもそも何なのかから考え、結論である分母と、話のきっかけとスキルである分子の関係を説明されました。Skillとしては、"Make a Point, Tell a Story" が鍵で、その間を繋ぐエッセンスで大きな穴をあけて、エッと思わせる技術と意外性での引きつけ、そこをどう埋めるかの展開を強調されました。Drillとしての準備では、時事問題や新聞、雑誌の記事を元に、出題者がどういった質問を考えるか、またそれにどう応えるか、といった常日頃の訓練が重要であることを指摘されました。Secretとして、本番でのティップや心がけ、原稿に書く練習等のアドバイスがユーモア豊富に紹介されました。ワークショップの中では、実際に２名のチームでの過去の出題である
 1. あなたの家に幽霊はいますか？
 2. あなたを色にたとえると何色？
のテープルトピックスの練習と、発表も取り入れられました。
TM Oの経験やノウハウをユーモアたっぷりに説明され、非常に為になるワークショップでした。

総合論評: TM YH
出席者が多い例会の準備が十分にされていた事、時間運営がしっかりされていた事の指摘がありました。ワークショップでの良かった点として、一方通行ではなく双方向に進められたこと、練習する機会があったことを指摘されました。一点、最初の段階で、分子と分母の説明をもう少し詳しくされた方が良かったとの指摘がありました。また、ワークショップ開催者への感謝状は非常に効果的な表現法であり、良いアイデアである指摘がありました。

入会式: TM SI と TM TU の入会式を TM Kei Iの進行で行いました。
